This weekend I was busy doing a fairly difficult cake for a 3 year olds birthday...He wanted a Mack truck, flatbed:

First I cut the cake and carved it so it would resemble a truck.

Covered it with homemade chocolate buttercream.

Added the fondant and decorations. Ta Da!

All done! Now, doesn't that sound easy??

You are SO good! I really wish I could do this. I have attempted to make my kids cakes so many times, and while they taste good they don't look near as nice as yours do.

This one might be my favorite so far, although the Dora one is really accurate. It's the cake carving that blows me away. And the homemade butercream. And the decorating.
