Boo!
I actually got a little creeped out holding this in my hand and painting it. That's how much I like pointy-legged spiders.
Close up.
I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out.
Yum. Cake. Recipes, photos, tips, and the occasional how-to; The things I've learned through trial and error. But mostly error. Who knew playing with frosting (outside the bedroom) could be so much fun??

I love it! Sorta reminds me of a Day of the Dead theme.
Wow Dawn! You've got skillz!!!
This would also be a great cake for Dios de los Muertos on November 1st. That is really impressive! I think I could probably master skiing and doing taxes at the same time before I could frost, let alone assemble a cake.
HOLY CRAP, Darlin... that's amazing!!!
Wow, wow, wow!
That's amazing
Ahhh! You're so awesome. I wish you were close enough to do the cake for the Hallowe'en birthday party for my kid this weekend.
She'll have to deal with my crappy monster cupcakes. ;)
That is fabulous!!!! I didn't even know you did this.
That's such a funny theme for a shower!
You are amazing. I just love your creative creations!!! Just think, making cakes to take to b'day parties and painting their faces ;) you could do it! <3
That is really impressive! Of course very difficult to do ....
I love it. What artistry!
