Martini Cake

This was done for a friend's sister's surprise martini themed birthday party!

The top and bottom tiers were chocolate cake with cherry filling, the middle was vanilla cake with cherry filling. Frosted with chocolate buttercream frosing and marshmallow fondant.

Beautiful! I love the little fondant olives in the glass! The colors that you picked are so wonderful. They really make a statement.
But I have to know, is the glass blown sugar or is it a real martini glass?

What is the difference in using marshmallow fondant and regular fondant? I have seen alot of people using the marshmallow lately and I never have. Please let me know!

I'm just finding you, thanks to I'm a Sleeper Baker, and I'm loving your cakes! How did you learn how to do such amazing things with frosting? (Okay, I'm referring now to frosting outside of the bedroom...)
