Sunshine cake

Last minute birthday cake for my mother in law's birthday. I used the fondant and materials I had left over from the martini cake.

I thought it turned out kind of cute!

The rainbow is adorable! How long can you save fondant? I froze some from a wedding for making candies this Christmas, and have some decorations in the cabinet...

Thanks! :)

@panamamama: I'm not sure how long you can keep fondant frozen. I've kept it in the frige for about a week without any problems but I usually use it before I have to freeze it. My guess would be 6 months at the very most. You can always thaw it out and see what it does and what it tastes like! :)

Now that is a cake. Lovely. I'm the cook, chef, and baker in the house. I wish I had the time to make cakes like this.
