Daisy Bridal Shower Cake
Made for my cousin's fiance's bridal shower. The only request was that there be neon colored daisies. This was the first time I'd attempted to cover the cake board with fondant. It wasn't quite a success. It's still not dry and I don't even know how I'm going to get it off the table...it might be a disaster.

Very pretty! Nice job. I've never covered a board w/ fondant either. Until recently, I used foil and I HATED it. Now I cover my board (either several layers of cardboard or for heavier cakes, I use sheetrock!) with several layers of tissue paper and then clear celaphane. They look much nicer that way.
That cake is beautiful.
I love this!! I have taken several cake decorating classes and decided to play to my strengths...tastes good, doesn't look so hot! Good for you that you have both!! I'm jealous. ;)
